Sarah
Sarah started mountain biking in 1996, and was instantly hooked. Spending almost every weekend riding with her husband and friends, she looked for another way to improve her skills and meet new people, and found Womens Only.
She has been riding with Women's Only since 1998. She started as a participant in the courses, then became a volunteer, then the volunteer coordinator and an instructor. She has taken many of the courses and workshops over the years. Through Women's Only, Sarah has seen her skills as a rider grow, and has met many amazing women that have become great friends.
Sarah really enjoys helping other people to expand their horizons and achieve their goals. The most rewarding thing about teaching mountain biking is providing a safe and encouraging environment for women to improve their skills and abilities on their bikes. Several of her students have moved on to mountain bike racing, or becoming Women's Only volunteers or instructors.
She is very excited about getting back on her bike this year after taking last year off to have a baby, and is looking forward to being part of the new Womens Only team.
